Self care- why and how?
Self care is a much discussed topic these days but what is it and why should be doing it?
Self care is the term given to you basically. It is the art of looking after yourself, making sure your health and wellbeing is good.
Self care doesn't have to be rock science. t can be something simple just as soaking in the bath or getting an early night.
You could also be more adventurous and take the weekend off to have to yourself or go for a spa day, or for the guys, have a gaming weekend with the guys or go for a round of golf. Basically self care is just do whatever makes you feel good.

Take a bath
Take a shower
Watch your favourite TV show/ Movie
Go for a walk
Write down 5 things you love about yourself
Write down things in life you are grateful for
Buy yourself a treat
Mind dump- Write down anything on your mind...Things to do, people to call, things to buy...don't forgets.
Have your favourite meal
Learn to say no, put yourself first for a change. Your own health is more important.
Wear clothes that make you feel good.
Declutter your home or workspace- Clear space = clear mind.
Write yourself some goals to help you gain focus and motivation.
Try a new recipe for dinner.
Call your bestfriend or someone you love.
Look at photo albums.
Listen to your favourite songs.
Celebrate your achievements.
Turn off your phone and social media and have the evening/day to yourself.
Drink more water.
3 positive things- Every day write down 3 good things that happened that day. It does not have to be anything huge. It could be as simple as 'I had a nice compliment about my outfit'
