Essential gift ideas for Christmas
There are only 34 days left till Christmas!
Today got me thinking, I was going round asking a friend for some gift ideas for a couple who have done a huge amount for me this year and I want to show them my appreciation this Christmas. It gave me an idea for this blog post.
Today I share with you all essential gift ideas for this fast approaching Christmas. I have sourced out what I think are some great ideas for some essential and safe gifts this year, (if you don't wanna be risky).
I might sound bias but I find men most difficult to buy for! This holiday season I am playing it safe and sticking to what I know, 'if they don't want anything, buy what they need'.
Car essentials- de- icer, ice scrapper, air freshers, new car mats, seat covers, music (cd's or I tunes gift card).
Wash bag full of essentials, body wash, spray...
gift basket of their favourite snacks.
Socks because most of them like my partner wear socks with holes and refuses to get rid of them.
No offence intended but I find the ladies much easier to buy for!
When I worked in retail for 5 years, I saw many poor men come in completely lost what to buy the ladies in their lives. I had this one gent come in and ask my manger what he could buy his wife for Christmas and he added, I was thinking a brand new hoover. I almost laughed out loud. My manger calmly replied She wont wanted that, and then showed his some ideas. How she kept calm when he said, that I will never know!
Tip 1- DO NOT leave it until Christmas eve! That is the worst possible thing you can do!
Tip 2- Take notice of the lady you want to buy for, mothers, daughters, sisters, girlfriends etc... she what products they use or like. Chocolates, perfume etc...
Tip 3 By being observant you can learn a lot.
Here are some ideas of what most ladies love to have....
(Check for the right size)
Box of favourite snacks
Photos of family or you both together.
Self care pack
scarf and gloves
Need some inspiration for that special someone? It always seems impossible to find them that perfect gift, does it even exist?
Here are just some ideas I have found to be thoughtful...
Date night movie pack
photo key ring
Scrapbook of your time together
Jar of date night ideas
Jar of compliments
Couple's coupon book
Their favourite snacks
Your favourite photo of you both in a frame
Cousins, nieces, nephews, close friends kids or your own... The best Advice I can give here....
Kids always make a list of stuff they want. sneakily go through their list with them and pick one thing to buy them.
I have done this every year with my cousins. It saves time, hassle and money on things they may not want or like.
Have I missed anything? Can you add anything on this list? Leave a comment! :-)
